Leading training provider Training Now wins exclusive tender to deliver free health and social care training

Leading training provider Training Now have won an exclusive tender from the Adult Education Budget to deliver four free courses to kickstart careers in health and social care

Leading training provider Training Now has been awarded over £300,000 of government funding from the Adult Education Budget (AEB) to train the next generation of health and social care workers.

Four fantastic courses are being offered to care providers to develop their workforce, giving their care workers the key skills and knowledge needed to progress in their careers and learning.

  • The Level 2 Diploma in Care delivers a fantastic foundation for care workers, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in their role.
  • The Award in Dementia shows learners how to identify crucial symptoms and create meaningful interactions for people living with the condition.
  • The Functional Skills courses in Maths and English are perfect ways for learners who may have struggled with formal exams and academia to gain nationally-recognised qualifications, opening up their prospects all the way to Registered Manager roles.

Training Now won the exclusive bid from out of hundreds of training providers across the country, and was the only training provider chosen from the South West area. As experts in health and social care, Training Now boasts a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and is proud to be a Skills for Care endorsed provider.

Managing Director of Training Now, Tara Roudiani, is delighted be launching the free AEB-funded training:

“The Adult Education Budget-funded training is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I hope care providers of all sizes across the country will make the most of.

Learners do not need any formal qualifications to apply: they just need to be working/volunteering in health and social care role for at least 6 hours per week. Further eligibility criteria applies.

Care providers who want to make use of the free training benefit from Training Now’s highly-experienced Teaching and Learning Coaches who will support care workers to gain their qualifications and develop any job-related skills they want to improve.

The AEB-funded training is free to the learner and their employer – meaning that they can develop a skilled and qualified workforce at no extra cost.
